However, during this month\u00b4s tours we were still able to have succesful encounters with our resident common dolphins (<em>delphinus delphis<\/em>) and bottlenose dolphins (<em>Tursiops truncatus<\/em>) that stay in the area all year. In February we were also lucky to see beaked whales (<em>Mesoplodon sp<\/em>.) on two different days. This was a bonus as they are very elusive animals that are difficult to view and almost impossible to identify in the wild.
