Waves were long and quite high, but dolphins were all around! From land, our lookouts led us to some <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.com\/2007\/07\/bottlenose-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">bottlenose dolphins<\/a>. Beside the boat maybe we had around 20 or 30 of them, but several groups were around the area. Some of them came close to the boat, some others were jumping on the distance! A dead <a href=\"https:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.com\/2007\/07\/striped-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">striped dolphin<\/a> not far from Ponta Delgada. Probably it died some days ago, as its belly was redish and the animal was still complete.
