\nToday the Ocean\u2019s surface layers were being mixed up by the water currents and by the North winds. Our spotter saw a pod of dolphins some miles away from our harbour, so we navigated west to the area. Along the hundreds of Portuguese man o\u2019 war and a few turtles, we were able to quickly spot a blue shark that was swimming close to surface.  After had spot the first tiny dorsal fins at distance we understood it was one of the small species of delphinid. We approached them slowly and after getting closer, we could identify the striped dolphins. <\/span><\/div>\n

\nThey were calm and unexpectedly swimming quite close to the boat. It was a pod of at least 100 individuals with several small calves. Due to their typical elusive behaviour we couldn\u2019t stay for long so we continued our navigation through the Ocean collecting all the different plastics we were able to take out from the water. <\/span><\/div>\n

\nMore ahead we were intercepted by some common dolphins that we had the opportunity to share a good moment with, as they were dancing around our boat.
