{"id":1881,"date":"2013-02-08T18:09:00","date_gmt":"2013-02-08T18:09:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/2013\/02\/08\/the-season-starts-of-baleen-whales\/"},"modified":"2019-11-22T22:29:38","modified_gmt":"2019-11-22T22:29:38","slug":"the-season-starts-of-baleen-whales","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/the-season-starts-of-baleen-whales\/","title":{"rendered":"The baleen whale season has started!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\" trbidi=\"on\">\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: justify;\">\n<span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans'; line-height: 19px;\">Today we were excited because we can say that the baleen whale season has started in S\u00e3o Miguel, Azores!&nbsp;This morning we<\/span><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans'; line-height: 19px;\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans'; line-height: 19px;\">&nbsp;went out with one of our zodiac boats and we traveled to the south first and then to the east of the island to try to view some baleen whales that our<\/span><\/span><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans'; line-height: 19px;\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans'; line-height: 19px;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans'; line-height: 19px;\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans'; line-height: 19px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/vigias-onshore-lookouts.html\" style=\"color: #0054d8; text-decoration: none;\">vigia (onshore lookout)<\/a><\/span><\/span><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans'; line-height: 19px;\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans'; line-height: 19px;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans'; line-height: 19px;\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans'; line-height: 19px;\">had spotted for us.
