Today really felt like springtime! Clear blue sky, flat crystalline sea and really pleasant temperature. The sightings also contributed to this feeling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We started the day with a curious group of common dolphins, the water was so clear and the lighting so perfect that we could see all their movements underwater and really appreciate their unique coloration.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We then headed to our favourite sperm whale ever: Mr Liable! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We saw its impressive fluke, slow and steady as always. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that a huge surprise was waiting for us. We headed west to find a beautiful group of 5 fin whales, not a common sighting for this time of the year.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their blows were very strong and high. The sound truly left us with our mouths opened.  We came back to Ponta Delgada with a huge smile in our faces enjoying the ride. In the afternoon we found again a group of common dolphins, a bit more spread out this time but still jumping and delighting us.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Liable did its second apparition of the day and this time it took longer to dive, we had time to enjoy its size, which doesn’t cease to amaze us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It seems the weather will continue like this for s few days, so let’s make the most out of it! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
