Both the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blogger.com\/blogger.g?blogID=8707149798514481706#editor\/target=post;postID=6532946232452471603;onPublishedMenu=allposts;onClosedMenu=allposts;postNum=66;src=postname\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">bottlenose<\/a> and common dolphin are resident to the islands of the Azores, unlike the Atlantic spotted dolphin that migrates to these waters in the early summer to take advantage of a rich food supply in the form of <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/08\/dolphin-food-fact-sheet.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sardines and mackerel<\/a>. These dolphins normally stay until the winter months, when the water becomes cooler they travel further south to the western coast of Africa. In the afternoon our clients were able to enjoy swimming with the resident common dolphins of the Azores.
