\nToday we returned to the ocean with our catamaran “Cetus” as well as a zodiac boat in the morning. In the morning we encountered common dolphins<\/a>, bottlenose dolphins<\/a> and Atlantic spotted dolphins<\/a> (in a mixed group with more common dolphins). The sea was swelly, but it gave us a fun ride as we traveled over the smooth waves. By the afternoon the sea was almost completely flat and within a few minutes of leaving Ponta Delgada we already encountered a nice group of up to 100 common dolphins. Further to the West we encountered 3 bottlenose dolphins and then we enjoyed a coastal ride back, stopping for a quick look at Rocha da Relva before continuing back to Ponta Delgada.<\/div>\n
