{"id":1676,"date":"2013-10-22T17:11:00","date_gmt":"2013-10-22T17:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/2013\/10\/22\/a-rainy-day-ends-with-dolphins-and\/"},"modified":"2019-11-22T22:31:00","modified_gmt":"2019-11-22T22:31:00","slug":"a-rainy-day-ends-with-dolphins-and","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/a-rainy-day-ends-with-dolphins-and\/","title":{"rendered":"A rainy day ends with dolphins and sunshine"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\" trbidi=\"on\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nToday started off very wet and rainy and to our and our passengers&#8217; frustration we had to cancel our morning round of tours, but lucky by the end of the morning the sky had cleared out our <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/vigias-onshore-lookouts.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">vigias<\/a> on the coastline spotted some dolphins for us to see. We were able to get our boats out on the water in the afternoon and some of our morning passengers had the chance to join us. We were lucky to see 3 different dolphin species: <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/bottlenose-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">bottlenose dolphins<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/atlantic-spotted-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Atlantic spotted dolphins<\/a> (a group of about 300 individuals!) and <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/common-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">common dolphins<\/a>. Our swimmers also enjoyed swimming with the very social group of bottlenose dolphins.
