The sperm whales were resting and babysitting the young calf and we only saw them&nbsp;in the morning. For 2013 the trend has been that the majority of the sperm whales have been far from the coast.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nBeyond the sperm whales we saw a small group of <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/atlantic-spotted-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Atlantic spotted dolphin<\/a>. They are still here! A huge and spread out pod of <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/common-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">common dolphins<\/a>, with over 200 individuals. And also a few <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/06\/caretta-caretta-loggerhead-turtle.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">loggerhead turtles<\/a>.<\/div>\n<div
