{"id":1558,"date":"2014-05-24T13:36:00","date_gmt":"2014-05-24T13:36:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/2014\/05\/24\/fin-whales-dolphins-and-almost-minke\/"},"modified":"2019-11-22T22:31:48","modified_gmt":"2019-11-22T22:31:48","slug":"fin-whales-dolphins-and-almost-minke","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/fin-whales-dolphins-and-almost-minke\/","title":{"rendered":"Fin whales, dolphins and almost a minke whale"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nThe baleen whale season is still fully ongoing with <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/fin-whale.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fin whales<\/a>, we had three whales, two adult and a juvenile, by our side. We also had a <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/minke-whale.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">minke whale<\/a> out there today and we went to the area, very close to the coast, but unfortunately we never found it. We do not see as many <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/minke-whale.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">minke whales<\/a> as <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/01\/blue-whale.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">blue whales<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/fin-whale.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fin whales<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/sei-whale.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sei whales<\/a> during the spring migration so this would had been the first one of the year. Instead we got to see some wonderful <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/bottlenose-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">bottlenose dolphins<\/a> and a <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/06\/caretta-caretta-loggerhead-turtle.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">loggerhead turtle<\/a>. And we started the tour with our resident and reliable <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/common-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">common dolphins<\/a> with lots of new born babies. So we had a great &#8220;schedule&#8221; today full of cetaceans.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nBy the way, we are alomst on our
