Hoje tanto de manh\u00e3 como de tarde encontramos v\u00e1rios<br \/>\ncachalotes que pertencem a um grupo que inclui os indiv\u00edduos como a&nbsp;<span class=\"textexposedshow\">&#8220;Orca&#8221; e a &#8220;Wenea&#8221;. Este grupo de<br \/>\ncachalotes tamb\u00e9m foi encontrado em outras ilhas dos A\u00e7ores, j\u00e1 que os grupos<br \/>\nfamiliares de cachalotes f\u00eameas com as suas crias viajam em torno da regi\u00e3o,<br \/>\nincluindo a Madeira e as Ilhas Can\u00e1rias. A maior parte da nossa pesquisa realizada<br \/>\naqui na Futurismo \u00e9 a foto-ID, fotografando os cachalotes que encontramos e<br \/>\nmantendo o controle dos grupos de indiv\u00edduos que s\u00e3o avistados aqui em<br \/>\ncompara\u00e7\u00e3o com outras \u00e1reas pr\u00f3ximas. Hoje tamb\u00e9m encontramos v\u00e1rias esp\u00e9cies<br \/>\nde golfinhos.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;\">Na<br \/>\nparte da manh\u00e3, vimos golfinhos roazes, golfinhos comuns, golfinhos pintados do<br \/>\nAtl\u00e2ntico e os golfinhos de Risso (que estavam muito ativos na superf\u00edcie e nos<br \/>\nproporcionaram alguns saltos impressionantes). Na parte da tarde encontramos<br \/>\ngolfinhos comuns e golfinhos roazes novamente. Foi mais um grande dia de<br \/>\nbaleias e golfinhos, em S\u00e3o Miguel, A\u00e7ores!<\/span><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;,&quot;serif&quot;; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;\"><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span style=\"font-family: inherit;\"><br \/><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span lang=\"EN-US\"><span style=\"font-family: inherit;\"><br \/><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span lang=\"EN-US\"><span style=\"font-family: inherit;\">During the past week we have been seeing<br \/>\nmany familiar <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/sperm-whale.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sperm whales<\/a> in S\u00e3o Miguel that we recognise from our catalogue.<br \/>\nIn both the morning and afternoon today we encountered several sperm whales<br \/>\nthat belong to a group that include individuals such as \u201cOrca\u201d and \u201cWenea\u201d.<br \/>\nThis group of sperm whale have also been encountered in other islands of the<br \/>\nAzores, as the family groups of female sperm whales with their young travel<br \/>\naround the region, including Madeira and the Canary Islands.&nbsp; A major part of our research conducted here<br \/>\nin Futurismo is photo-ID, photographing the individuals we encounter and<br \/>\nkeeping track of the groups and individuals that are sighted here in comparison<br \/>\nto other nearby areas. Today we also encountered several dolphin species. In the<br \/>\nmorning we saw <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/bottlenose-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">bottlenose dolphins<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/common-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">common dolphins<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/atlantic-spotted-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Atlantic spotted dolphins<\/a><br \/>\nand <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/rissos-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Risso\u2019s dolphins<\/a> (who were very active at the surface and showed us some<br \/>\nimpressive jumps). In the afternoon we encountered <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/common-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">common dolphins<\/a> and<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/bottlenose-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">bottlenose dolphins<\/a> again.
