{"id":1153,"date":"2015-10-23T17:06:00","date_gmt":"2015-10-23T17:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/2015\/10\/23\/familiar-dolphins-2\/"},"modified":"2019-11-22T22:34:32","modified_gmt":"2019-11-22T22:34:32","slug":"familiar-dolphins-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/familiar-dolphins-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Familiar dolphins"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\" trbidi=\"on\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nToday we had some really nice encounters with two of our resident dolphin species: <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/common-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">common dolphins<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/bottlenose-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">bottlenose dolphins<\/a>. We saw several familiar individuals that we recognise from their distinct appearance and behaviour, as each dolphin is unique. Out of the common dolphins there was one in the afternoon that we easily recognised from its bent over dorsal fin &#8211; a dolphin we call Victor. Out of the bottlenose dolphins we recognised one we call Lady and another we call Bubblemaker.
