\nToday the wind finally dropped, and the surface was blue and transparent so we could see the <\/span><\/span>common dolphins<\/span><\/a><\/span>. Later on, we saw the <\/span><\/span>Atlantic spotted dolphins<\/a> through the water the later ones also porpoising (swimming fast with many leaps). <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\nIn the morning we found a big gathering of <\/span><\/span>sperm whales<\/span><\/a> where we first saw the kindergarten, and a bit later the adults joined them. In total there were up to 12 individuals socialising. In the afternoon the sperm whales were spread out and hungry, so we managed to observe several individuals fluking and we recognised “Whitehead” among the white unit.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Not far from the sperm whales we enjoyed the <\/span>bottlenose dolphins<\/a><\/span>. Some of them were leaping synchronously and putting on a show for us. So we switched between bottlenose dolphins and sperm whales. <\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\nOn other boats, they had other fantastic experiences like the <\/span><\/span>Sunfish<\/a><\/span><\/span> feeding at the surface on a Portuguese man-o-war, a breaching sperm whale or a storm petrel, all events which are not so frequent but very well appreciated. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
