Resident species show!

What a great day today, with three of our beloved resident species!

Right after leaving the port, we were instantly welcomed by a nice group of common dolphins bowriding our catamarans. The dolphins were really curious about us, but after a while we had to move on in search for something bigger. And something bigger was indeed waiting for us!

We found ourselves in the middle of a dispersed group of sperm whales – the largest predators in the world, and there were blows seen all around. We saw various graceful tail lifts before the sperm whales went for their deep dives, and we also observed a calf with its mother! Everywhere we looked, we were able to see more and more blows appearing, and we visited one whale after another.

After seeing plenty of these magnificent animals, we continued our trip. And soon we saw a large group of curious bottlenose dolphins that kept bowriding in front of both of our catamarans, allowing everyone to see them from really up close! All the boat was cheering with excitement, which made us really happy knowing everyone enjoyed this amazing trip today.
